Description

A gentle brightening cream designed to help fade stubborn pigmentation while keeping the barrier intact. It’s a lovely pick for sensitive skin and can be used through pregnancy and breastfeeding, when Vitamin A is off the table.

Who it’s for

All skin types including sensitive, reactive, breakout-prone or rosacea-prone skin. A safe pigmentation option during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Key ingredients

• 4-n-Butylresorcinol 0.3 percent: a well-studied ingredient that helps improve the appearance of uneven skin tone.
• Niacinamide 5 percent (Vitamin B3): supports the skin barrier and even-looking tone.
• Gluconolactone (PHA): a very gentle exfoliant that also hydrates.
• Hyaluronic Acid, Shea Butter and Bisabolol: support comfort and hydration.

How to use

Apply 1 to 2 pumps in the morning after serums (or straight after cleansing if you’re skipping serums), and follow with Zinc Shade. Can also be used at night. If you’re using Ultimate A Gold at night, apply Ultimate A Gold first, then layer Enlighten Gold. During pregnancy, use in place of Vitamin A night creams.

Good to know

• Pigmentation can appear more visible before it settles as the surrounding skin evens out. Consistent daily use over 3 to 4 months (with SPF) is what does the work.
• Discontinue if irritation occurs.
• Non-comedogenic, rosacea friendly, vegan and cruelty-free.
