Facial Muscle Treatments
Treatment options to address concerns related to facial muscle activity, supporting natural movement and a softer expression.
Treatments addressing muscle activity in the face and neck can help soften the appearance of fine lines, refine specific contours, and ease concerns such as excessive sweating. All while supporting natural movement and expression.
In Australia, prescription-only treatments cannot be named publicly. We’ll talk you through every option that may suit you during your face-to-face consultation, and only ever use products approved for cosmetic use under the TGA.

Concerns this treatment can help address.
Can this help with the horizontal lines across my forehead?
Facial muscle treatments are commonly used to soften the appearance of forehead lines by gently easing the activity of the underlying muscles. Initial softening usually appears within 3-5 days and settles by around day 14. A complimentary consultation will determine whether this approach suits your forehead and how much, if any, is right for your face.
Will this address frown lines between my eyebrows?
The area between the brows (the ’11s’) is one of the most commonly addressed concerns with facial muscle treatments. Treatment may help soften both static and dynamic lines so the area looks calmer and less furrowed. The right plan depends on your facial anatomy and the look you want.
Can this soften the lines around my eyes when I smile?
Facial muscle treatments can help soften the lines that appear at the outer corners of the eyes with expression. The aim is a refreshed look that still moves naturally with your smile. Never frozen. Assessment in consultation determines the appropriate approach for your eye area.
I think my brow looks heavy or sad. Can this help lift it?
A heavy or downward-pulling brow can sometimes be addressed by carefully targeting specific muscles to support a subtle lift. This is highly technique-sensitive and requires a thorough assessment of how your face moves, which is why a consultation comes before any decision.
Can this help with jaw clenching, grinding, or jaw tension?
Facial muscle treatments in the jaw muscles (masseters) may help ease clenching, grinding, and the resulting jaw tension. Some clients also notice a softer jaw contour over time. We assess whether this approach is suitable in consultation.
What about excessive underarm sweating?
Facial muscle treatments can be used to address excessive sweating in specific areas. Most commonly the underarms. We assess your concern in consultation and discuss whether this is the right approach for you.
I want to look refreshed, not frozen. Can this still look natural?
Natural-looking results are the entire point of how we practise. We use the lightest effective approach for your face, and we’d rather you come back for a small top-up than start too strong. The goal is that your closest friends say you look rested. Not that you look different.
Common questions
How long until I see results?
Initial softening usually appears within 3-5 days. Full results settle by around day 14.
How long does it last?
Results typically last 3-4 months. We’ll plan your follow-up around your individual response.
Will I look frozen?
Our approach is conservative and tailored to your preferences. Most clients want refreshed, natural movement rather than a frozen appearance. If you specifically prefer a more frozen look, that can absolutely be achieved as well.
Is it painful?
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick pinch. The procedure takes around 10-15 minutes.
Are there side effects?
Minor side effects can include small bruising or slight tenderness, both of which usually resolve within a few days.
Why don’t I see specific product names online?
TGA and AHPRA guidelines prevent us from naming Schedule 4 medications publicly. We’re happy to discuss every option in your consultation.
